The purpose of Liberty Christian Center's Celebrate Recovery is to maintain a safe, confidential & anonymous environment where men & women of all ages & races can be real about their day to day struggles. By working & applying the Biblical principles of Celebrate Recovery we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive, & dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy & most importantly a stronger personal relationship with God & others.

 

Our society is becoming more & more complex. Kids now have three sets of grandparents. Sexual addiction among men & women is growing at an exponential rate. Divorce is at an all time high. Drugs, alcohol, sexual, physical, and verbal abuse, gangs, bankruptcy, work-ahol-ism, gambling, eating disorders, theft, abortion, suicide...These words are common household terms today.

 

Celebrate Recovery provides a gender specific group atmosphere where everyone can work through their hurts, hang-ups & habits. A few of the benefits of working through issues in a group atmosphere are accountability, encouragement, & prayer support. Through the process of working the Christian 12 steps of Celebrate Recovery, cross addictions can be determined and avoided. Triggers can be identified. We can better understand the root of our core issues & eliminate the source instead of the symptom.

 

In the group of Celebrate Recovery you will come to find out that you are not alone. In fact, you will see that many people have similar if not the exact same struggles. In the support of a small group, hope can be developed as stories & experiences of people overcoming day to day struggles are shared. This is an atmosphere where we don't just stop what we're doing, but we can realize why we do the things we do.
